About Joanne Webb.

I am a highly trained and experience practioner, with extensive experience supporting health and care services in the public and voluntary sector.I have had many roles over the years from parent of 6 (in honesty one of the most challenging roles of them all) , through to trustee of a charity. Within these roles I have had the opportunity to further my education and knowledge in ways that a younger me would not have felt possible. Along the way I have also attended first aid courses, webinars, health protection training with Southends Public Health team and gaining OCN qualifications. All of my experience as a parent and my further training has enabled me to empower families to make informed, educated choices when it comes to raising their children, as well as enabelling me to support Public Health, the local NHS, the Early Years Alliance and local partnerships to hear the needs of local families and make informed, educated decisions to act on those needs, with residents and not for them. If you were to read that as a stand alone piece would it show you what I can bring to a job role? Probably not, and that simple thought is something I carry with me in all that I do. We and the residents that we support and live amongst cannot have their worth judged by brief descriptions. We are complex, multi layered, and that takes time and conversations to understand and see properly. We cannot tackle health inequalities or engage with residents or health partnerships in their space, to support their journeys, and hear their needs, if we do not take that time. And we need to prioritise it.
