Lead a team of nine people consisting of negotiators, Demand Writers and demand writers assistants. Reviews demands for quality control before providing authority to submit to the insurance carriers. Negotiate for maximum value to close out cases pre-litigation. Keep clients appraised of their case status during negotiation process. Take escalated client calls, do case audits, monitor SOL cases, and motivate/mentor my team members to meet their monthly and quarterly goals. Train new hires on process and procedures. Approve negotiation authority for counters and minimum expectations for my team members. Provide knowledge/expertise regarding insurance DOI regulations to the demands team.
