I come to you with diverse experience in retail, customer service, mergers & acquisitions, construction, manufacturing and power industries that lends itself naturally to consulting. My greatest strengths include problem solving, culture through transitions, implementing procedures and project management.I have a Bachelor's and Master's in Engineering and I spent much of my Engineering career in manufacturing and large construction. I have worked all over the U.S. for large and small companies and have a wide range of engineering experiences in design, project control and management.I started teaching scuba diving with my husband in 2008 and we taught privately and for the University of Iowa as a successful side business. In 2016, my husband passed, and I decided to take a year to work full-time in my hobby. Diventures was looking to open a new location in Iowa, and I knew it would take all my energy and time. I opened a new retail location from day 1 to the completion of an 8,000 sq. ft. building with a pool. At the end of the year, Diventures offered me an opportunity to work in mergers & acquisitions which expanded my knowledge base and skillset versus simply being a role in my hobby. In this role, I have managed every aspect from start to finish of the acquisitions of 9 additional locations. This included courting the prior owners ahead of the closing, managing the announcements at closing and culture aspects as well as long term integration and transition of the location into the Diventures way after the closing.I bring the flexibility to work in any industry, live anywhere, build relationships and get things done that is perfect for the consulting industry.
