Lenovo, a Chinese company, purchased IBM’s PC Division in May 2005. Since then I have been working as part of the Global Supply Chain business transformation and process management organization assimulating As-Is business processes and formulated world class To-Be processes for the merged companies. Responsible for management of the Global Supply Chain Order Fulfillment organization responsible for the business transformation of the Order to Cash /Order Fulfillment functionality which includes: Inquiries/Quotations, Order Capture/Order Management, Credit Management, Accounts Receivables/Dispute Management, Billing, Order Scheduling and Sourcing, Delivery Processing and Distribution, Returns functionality for Lenovo’s Global Supply Chain. I am responsible for fulfillment to internal manufacturing sites as well as to OEMs/ODMs.

Project solutions lead responsible for developing and deploying an IT solution to replace the current SAP R/3 order scheduling systems with an i2 Demand Fulfillment solutions integration with SAP R/3. Responsibilities include working with IBM management, key stakeholders and the user community to develop project scope and schedule, and to develop, test and deploy the IT solution. Responsibilities also include interlocking with the business while transforming the business processes to support executive business direction. The scope of the project includes the entire Americas customer set including IBM’s direct and indirect businesses, the worldwide manufacturing sites and the fulfillment execution processes in support of the North American and Canadian organizations. Second phase of project covered solutions lead responsibilities for the rollout of the i2 DF solution for the Asia Pacific region.
