Responsible for HR-related activities within the Benelux market, leading two direct reports in the Benelux HR department. As a representative for the Benelux market within the France/Benelux Senior Leadership Team, I was invited to co-create a collective business spirit within and in-between the diverse cultures. B Corp certification project:Member of the global taskforce which was responsible for obtaining the B-Corp certificate. Together with my Paris-based colleague, we secured the France-Benelux cluster to rise up to a high standard and lead the certification process. We managed to successfully obtain the B-corp certificate.

Responsible for driving sales of the stores in the Netherlands. Coaching Storemanagers in all aspects of managing their teams and stores. Actively initiating sales driving activities alongside a strong focus on personal development within the teams.

Responsible for driving sales and profit, stock management, people development, visual presentation, retail operations and minimise all risk of loss in high performing store in Rotterdam. As an active ambassador for the work of The Body Shop Foundation, I joined in on the first international challenge to raise funding and awareness for one of the topics that TBSF was focussing on. 29 People trekking 103 km over 5 days over unforgiving terrain & blistering heat, walking for access to clean water for WaterAid (see video)Additional projects:- Organise Rotterdam as a training store for new store staff and Store Managers.- Coaching Store Managers in people management, sales management, stock management and visual merchandising.- Trainer/coach in 'Future Leaders' programme.- Creating monthly Visual Merchandising guidelines for all stores in Benelux. - Creating a weekly communication tool for Benelux stores to be structurally updated on all relevant subjects.- Initiating various sales driving competitions between stores.- Initiating various instore and regional activities to support local NGO's.- Assisting District Sales Manager in various activities.

Responsible for driving sales and profit within the store through the delivery of customer service, brand management, stock management and people management.During the biggest campaign in the history of The Body Shop I have played a leading role in stimulating the very succesfull results in the Dutch market. Over 150 young students, members of the ECPAT team, The Body Shop store staff and Dutch celebrities Noortje Herlaar and Liesbeth Kamerling handed over a whopping 173,188 signatures to Ivo Opstelten, the Dutch Minister of Security and Justice.In 2008 The Body Shop held a contest over all their EMEA stores in raising money and awareness for the Children On The Edge. In the poorest european country of Moldova there is a large amount of young girls being trafficked for sexual purposes. COTE has made many efforts in creating opportunities for these children and young women to recover their lives after these tragedies. As Store Manager of the winning team I was invited to come along on a UN trip to see and connect with the beneficiaries of this project. As ambassador of this cause within the organisation, I was a speaker during the EMEA Retail Conference in 2008, sharing my experiences and my call to continue making a positive impact on people's lives.
