Main responsibilities included in all the jobs:- Assisting in the sourcing of fabrics, embroidery, etc, giving detailed specs, looking at prototypes,ordering samples etc.- Liaising with suppliers/pattern makers.- Travel for international research and fairs to Tokyo, LA, Barcelona, Paris, London, Milan, NewYork, Copenhagen, Berlin and Florence. Flea markets, second hand and vintage clothing.- Trend interpretation and application.- Creation of mood boards.- Assessing samples and conducting fittings.- Creation of working drawings/specification sheets.- Design development and sourcing of ranges from production through to finished product.- Working closely with factories in India, China, Spain and Italy.
