Growing up, I developed my scientific method by curiously observing how everything is and works, and this curious mindset led me to take a degree in Physics at the University of Birmingham, UK, so that I could get a more fundamental understanding of Science and Engineering. Now that I´ve graduated, I´m looking forward to working on innovative projects where I can apply my Physics-based problem-solving skills to help create something from the ground up. Currently, in my gap year, I am dedicating my time to a student association that I founded with the sim of promoting Space Exploration in Portugal. Having launched a model-rocket at the European Rocketry Challenge 2023, we are now looking to expand and be able to share these experiences with more students in the future.In my spare time, I enjoy playing piano and cooking, and recently I have developed a huge interest in backpacking; after doing an Interrail around Europe, and a month-and-a-half solo backpacking trip to Mexico, I want to be able to explore other places and cultures around the world.
