As a researcher at INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory (INESC TEC), I am passionate about exploring and advancing the field of robotics, particularly for real-world applications. I have a PhD in Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The University of Sheffield, where I developed and tested decentralized and fully reactive controllers for pose control. I have over three years of research experience in this domain and have published papers in prestigious conferences and journals, such as the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) and IEEE Transactions on Robotics. I have also acquired skills in relevant areas such as microcontrollers, embedded systems, and ROS programming. My goal is to contribute to the scientific and social impact of robotics, by creating systems that are scalable, adaptable, and efficient.
