Beginning my professional life in 2003 i've been linked to the R+D of home and professional appliances on these last 20 years.Starting as a plastic injection mold designer gave me the the necessary skills to quickly jump into plastic part project engineering and home appliances construction, having created engineering solutions for the medical, automotive, and home appliances industry for more then 15 years.Going through the various areas of product development, such as part design, molding, supply chain procurement, and production supervising i've been managing Delta Cafes beverage capsule system, DeltaQ, R+D engineering team for the last 10 years, in Delta's Innovation Center. As the head of the team i'm ultimaly responsible for all the projects in house. All the coffee machines and systems are developed by my team, under my supervision, having generated 45 granted internacional patents in last 6 years.For the past 9 years, i've been travelling to China (Shenzhen and Shanghai area) on an average 10 trips a year supervising each stage of production and staying there at least 3 weeks each time which as given me a great know-how on the Chinese way of working, supply chain, going through plastic injection, metal working and electronic suppliers. I have made multiple contacts in this country and even managed to learn some words on the way...I have also experience in dealing with EU suppliers, having worked with Italian, Swiss, Spanish and German companies.Colaboration with the aesthetics design team is a must so i keep a very close interaction between shape and function, understanding enginnering must live together with design.I'm an objective focused person with team leadership skills, highly driven by searching the better product/solution, that fits the end user highest expectation. I've a complete know how of all the production chain range vital to create a final end user product, going from R+D, tooling, industrial production, packaging and logistics.
