Electrical engineer, graduated with a Master’s degree in Renewable Energies at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. Developed a master’s degree thesis about the identification and analyses of solutions for the operation and control of low voltage distribution systems with large scale integration of microgeneration units. Currently, I’m a Researcher at INESC TEC in Center for Power and Energy Systems (CPES).At this stage, I have been involved in a significant number of projects which goes from research projects to consultancy contracts with manufacturing equipment companies and power generation, TSO and DSO companies. My professional activity provide me skills in most of the fields of energy power systems, such as Static and Dynamic analysis of Energy Grids, Forecasting, Energy Markets and Power Electronics.In addition to the scientific and technical knowledge, I developed skills in computer-based simulation platforms such as PSSE, Simulink and Digsilent and programming languages such as C++, VBA and Python.
