Servers and storage's focal point support responsible for in-house data center and providing remote support for multiple clients environments.

Main responsibilities: Brazil - Responsible for transitioning (insourcing) all Brazil (Campinas and Blumenau) servers support from third part support. Campinas with VMware and Blumenau with MS Hyper-V.  Support for all users (internal employees) and local it field team (Campinas and Blumenau) needs. 3rd Line Support (Home Office) - Managing global datacenters (Germany, United States and India) with Windows and Linux servers (1500 servers).  Managing VMware environment, Netapp Storage, SnapProtect (backup and restore), Symantec (SEP) antivirus, working on users/automatic (monitoring) tickets and incidents. Global Security Team (Home Office) - Responsible for patching calendar (Windows and Linux servers), patching communication, analyze scan results (Nessus) and mitigate existing vulnerabilities. Main results: Brazil - Reduced physical servers, replaced old hardware and migrated servers to the same user’s domain. Implemented file servers replication data between the 2 sites (part of DRP strategy) and deployed printers by GPO for the specific areas and employees. Improved environment availability configuring VMware High Availability (HA and DRS). Consolidated single backup solution (NetBackup), implemented backup tapes encryption with the same encryption keys (DRP) per auditors requirements and reduced server’s vulnerabilities. 3rd Line Support - Migrated VMware ESXi from 5.5 to 6.5. Complex project to migrate all old telephony vm servers from old ESXi 5.5 to new hardware (different locations). Reduced the problem tickets number by continuously working on the issues root cause. Global Security Team - Improved patching process integrating all the datacenters to the same patching schedules, migrated Nessus scanner servers to the Windows Server 2016, disabled SMBv1 and NTLMv1 protocols for the whole environment.

Main responsibilities: Hired to a temporary position to cover the local it manager on medical leave to keep the IT contracts and vendors management.  Manage and improve all the IT infrastructure (Checkpoint firewall, Cisco routers, Windows Servers, Backup, Storage and local it service desk needs with hardware and software).  Responsible to keep Brazil aligned with the new company’s projects coming from Israel. Received proposal to open a company to replace the current outsourcing company responsible for the server’s management. New proposal to be company’s employee back again and keep managing and improving all the IT infrastructure.Main results: Insourcing infrastructure support saving money and increasing availability/reducing response time. Delivered pending projects (Example: Fixed Netapp Storage cifs configuration and configured daily snapshots). Added a secondary ISP and set up the firewall load balance to work with the 2 ISP, also configured the existing DNS entries to work with redundancy as well. Reduced the mobile’s phones monthly cost in 50%. New spam filters configuration for Microsoft Exchange with the Checkpoint Firewall working together in order to reduce the spam emails in more than 95% and internet content filtering to avoid inappropriate sites access. Deployed and migrated the file and database servers to new hardware. Started to patch all the servers on monthly basis and applied all the missing service packs.

Main responsibilities: Plan, set up, implement and provide support for all the sales models to the Latin America clients.Main results: Speed up sales models availability. Improved communication to the Product Managers and checkup process to avoid issues.

Main responsibilities: Support Dow Chemical’s client with more than 3000 Windows servers across the world. Responsible for the Operating Systems (VMware, Citrix and Windows Server) and Hardware support (IBM, Dell, HP and Netapp). Daily working with tickets and critical incidents over conferences with the client. Focal point for Netapp’s Storages (SAN) on the first shift. Security Area working with Computer Associates Antivirus (eTrust) and Symantec (SEP) managing console and engaging the vendor on the critical situations involving new virus infections without new signatures, providing samples, waiting for new signatures and applying new updates for the whole environment.Main results: Reduced client’s downtime. Improved SLA (Service Level Agreement) and client satisfaction. Decreased virus infections incidents due to proactive working on the antivirus console with logs analysis.
