When I leave the University, with a Degree in Aerospace Engineering , and after working as a researcher in digital control for military projects, I started to work as a technician in a Helpdesk company, a small one, were I had the opportunity to do a lot of things from technical work to team management.After learning a lot, I leaved that company the day it was sold, and embraced a new project at Compta. With Compta I have founded Compta Emerging Business a company inside the group responsible for deliver Emerging Solutions to Emerging Vertical Markets.I have used many hats in my career (programmer, technical, researcher, team leader, project manager, manager, etc) that give me the skills to manage multi-disciplinary projects.In 5 years of growing the company in Europe, working to create a tuff team and tuff partners, I learned also many languages, from technician to manager, from salesperson to marketer, but I learned also the most important one: the language of a difficult customer. All this in three different idioms: Portuguese, English and Spanish.That learning give me one of the keys for my business success in the next years: Understanding. In business, understanding means less failures, and every failure cost a lot in money and time to the company. After understanding, execution!In 2013 with the crisis in Europe, I take responsibility to take the company to Brasil, and founded Compta – Brasil, where we are deploying the experience that we won in Portugal.I define myself as an executive entrepreneur, a strategist and a leader that synthetizes my actuation in 5 basic premises:1 – Never, ever back down2 – Never give up3 – Ignore the drama4 – Find your goal in Life5 – Do youToday with 40 years, I am CEO of the company in Brasil, and I have never leaved the love to work with my team sharing responsibilities in a timely and professional manner. My focus now is to make Compta Brazil the 1st Automation company in our market in the next 4 years.
