My professional history actually began as early as the age of 12 when I started as a newsboy. I continued to work part-time, either before or after school, at several businesses throughout my teens. At the age of 18, I embarked in the military and served in the Brazilian Air Service at the Civil Aviation Department (known as ANAC today) for two years. After I left the military service, I got an entry-level job as an administrative assistant at an aviation and aeronautics consulting firm called M. Moreira & Associate Consultants. After a year and a half, I stumbled upon an ad inviting people to teach English as a Foreign Language (ESL) even without experience. I decided to give it a go, so I left my company and found what would become my career until this very moment. I started as a budding ESL instructor at this school called Auding Idiomas, where I got all the training and structure before beginning the work. Back then, all my students were true beginners. Two years later, I applied for the internationally-celebrated Berlitz School of Languages, where I work for over five years. In 2003, I decided to leave Berlitz and work as a private tutor and translator, which I have been doing ever since.Currently, I am planning a career move to the realm of technology through Salesforce. For this reason, I am taking a learning and preparation a course to get the Admin and Dev Certificates. This long history of my track record is necessary to demonstrate my work ethics, dynamism, self-motivation, and applied initiative. I search for opportunities to grow and can sense where such opportunities are.
