About Joao Marcos Machado Couto

I’m a Data Engineer at The Coca-Cola Company responsible for a large portion of the Latin America data pipelines. Active researcher at UFMG's Social Computing laboratory and currently working towards a MSc. Prior to that, I spent two years at the Artificial Intelligence laboratory at UFMG and 3 months on a internship at The Walt Disney Company, Florida. I've been fortunate enough to work on a wide array of topics, including continental-scale data management, misinformation prevention and artificial intelligence, scoring a number of publications at impactful international and national conferences (See publications)
