During my time working in Angola, I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with the civil engineering industry, specifically in road construction. My role primarily focused on equipment and production control, where I was responsible for monitoring and optimizing the efficiency of the construction processes.To accomplish this, I had to analyze large amounts of data related to equipment utilization, production rates, and material usage. By leveraging tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI, I was able to effectively collect, clean, and analyze this data to derive valuable insights.Excel played a vital role in organizing and manipulating the data, allowing me to perform calculations, create reports, and visualize trends. SQL, on the other hand, enabled me to query databases and extract specific information necessary for analysis. Power BI proved to be a powerful tool for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations, facilitating the communication of key performance indicators and making data-driven decisions more accessible to stakeholders.By honing my skills in these tools and techniques, I developed a strong foundation in data analytics during my time in Angola. The experience not only enhanced my ability to work with large datasets but also sharpened my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
