His tenure in the company started in 2018 as CFO when the company became the first independent TowerCo in Portugal. Previously, João served as Executive Board Member of EGEO, the market leader in environmental services in Portugal, and for more than 15 years he led key transformational projects in NOS / ZON and Portugal Telecom (now Altice Portugal / MEO), both Telecom and Media market leaders. He holds an MSc equivalent in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, an Advanced Management Program on Telecommunications & Information Technologies from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and an MBA from INSEAD.
