Developed activities in the electronic sports (e-sports) scene, both in Portugal and international markets.In Portugal, I was involved in the setup and maintenance of lan houses and cybercafes. We offered a "key in hand" all-around solution, based on Windows systems and Smartlaunch software.I was also part of the team responsible for the technical and editorial maintenance of the online magazine about e-sports, eSportsPlanet (www.esportsplanet.com). Some of my roles included: coordenation of the edtorial team; setup and maintenance of LAMP servers; configuration of monitoring systems, using Nagios, Cacti and Munin tools.Our team organized several events related to e-sports, namely the World Cyber Games (http://www.wcg.com) - Portugal and Cyberathlete Professional League (http://thecpl.com) Europe - Portugal. Some of the tasks directed by me in these events were the coordination of the organizing teams and management of communication and marketing teams. I was involved in the setup of the hardware and software systems used in the events.We were also responsible for the administration of the Electronic Sports League (http://www.esl.eu) - Spain and Portugal, where I was the liaison with international entities for matters related with the technical and logistic aspects of the tournament management system, developed by Turtle Entertainment.
