I am a PhD student in Computer Science at Rice University. My main areas of interest are the intersection of Graphs, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.+ Coordinated Data, a Data Science and Deep Learning extension group. Taught Data Science to more than 300 students and promoted Data Science and Deep Learning knowledge diffusion through online lectures, watched by more than 20.000 people on YouTube. Also, developed many Deep Learning projects in collaboration with other students, all available in my GitHub profile.+ Co-authored to the publication of the paper Smart Toys and Children's Privacy: enhancing the usability of mobile privacy control tools, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant sponsored by FAPESP in the Human-Computer Interaction area of the University of São Paulo (USP), presented at SIGDOC '19 in Portland, Oregon.+ 3rd place of Interhack, the largest university hackathon in Brazil, with over 180 participants. Our project consisted of an educational game based on a Machine Learning voice recognition system targeted at children with speech disorders.+ Worked as a Project Manager at ICMC Júnior, a junior enterprise of the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences (ICMC) of the University of São Paulo (USP).I am interested in opportunities that unite several areas of computing for developing products, ideas, and initiatives with great innovation and impact on society.
