I was part of the Laboratório de Mobilidade Automobilística e Urbana - LAMAU at UFU, where the main objective is to promote research, develop projects, and technological solutions in the field of sustainability and mobility.At LAMAU I worked within the competition team Tadarida Motoracing UFU which was the only team in Latin America to compete in MotoStudent Electric. I was a member of the operations team in the manufacturing, structure and safety area that is responsible for all the creation, analysis and development of every structural part such as the frame (chassis), rear axle, battery box, engine support, among other components of the electric motorcycle created for the competition.During this period I was responsible for:- Writing reports describing the work done by the structure team and it’s evolution- Study of the best frame (chassis) configuration for the project- Participate in brainstormings for ideas for motorcycle innovations- Use of 3D modeling software (CAD) such as Solidworks to create motorcycle structure components- Conducting simulations in CAD software for testing resistance, performance, vibration, stress and durability of mechanical parts.- Analysis and research of the best materials for the construction of the motorcycle- Contact and research with manufacturers and suppliers
