Scientific support in a thesis called "Correlation between bar morphology and flow of active rivers in the geological record".The research group applied an innovative statistical methodology with the database obtained in Google Earth in rivers worldwide, aiming to correlate the curvature arcs preserved in scroll bars in the Amazon rivers. This project aimed to expand the results obtained in the Amazon context and test the correlation approach of scroll bars with flow rivers for other tectonics, climatic and slope contexts and amount of sediments in transported suspension, with the purpose of comparing the results obtained with researches of ancient alluvial deposits, which may also feature the preservation of scroll bars.
