ABOUT MEJoão Pedro Vargas is a Creative Director, CCO and a partner of Casa.CC, a branding and design studio. Studio Casa.CC has in it portfolio: Ambev, Stella Artois, Beats, Guaraná, Sukita, Tônica Antárctica, Cutwater, Reserva, Tramontina, Unilever, Reckit, FARM, Fila, Umbro.A passionate for art and illustration, he began his career in 1994. In the beginning, João Pedro still uncertain if he would follow a career in advertising or should choose arts or design. Perhaps this explains many things on his portfolio, which design and illustration being striking features of his work.He continued in advertising and in the last 22 years, won many national and international awards. Among those prizes he’s won, there is a bronze lion in press category at the cannes lions 2014, besides being 22 times finalist at the same festival. He had 12 campaings and 32 works published in Archive magazine. Actualy, he is the 2nd best world art director, according to the magazine's Ranking Archive 2016. And also won the Clio Awards, FIAP, Art Directors Club, Webby Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Abril Awards, Central de Outdoor, Castelo Branco GP and the Brazil’s National Award Colunistas. Among the agencies that João Pedro worked, stand out also DM9Sul, a startup of DM9DDB, the advertising agency of São Paulo that is a member of ABC Group. He was one of the leaders of the creative team at DM9Sul, which serves clients such as Netshoes, Olympikus, Reebok, Azaleia, Dijean, Vulcabras, Marisol Group, Brinox, RBS Group, United Nations and Iguatemi Mall. In addition to his portfolio there are also projects for Tramontina, Coca-Cola, Bank of the Rio Grande do Sul State and Sea Sheperd. Even extremely focused on his profession, João Pedro does not forget to devote the largest amount of time as possible to his kids, Alexandre and Eduardo, and his wife and partner of every hour, Simone.
