Working in a team to develop a recommendation platform for e-commerce, we build a distributed system capable of handling thousands of users at peak time, across different online stores.Main responsabilities:- Build RESTful apis with pub/sub backend to asyncronous tasks, using python.- Expose data to users and handles with frontend javascript.- Build an enviroment for frontend development, with dev/deploy utilities.- Scripts for parsing, scrapping and normalizing raw data to objects- Create deployment scripts to publish changes in continuous integration projects.

A great winter season working in the best second hand gear shop in Aspen. I helped to open the shop, arrange/rearrange products on display, count inventory, help people to find good and correct equipment, learned at least a bit of hockey to help costumers, evaluate and repair incoming used winter gear, general cleaning.Was during this time that I started to focus my learning into web development in python.

Had a great time working with amazing designers, creating softwares for touchscreen surfaces. We built games, presentations and others interactive medias for commercial events. My last project there was a set of games (pictionary, quiz, memory..) involving a central TV, connected with touch screen totems. It was the first time building something with server-client network involved, and I liked it!
