By being part of a 10-man project team of piping specification, one of my main responsibilities includes stress analysis of industrial pipes, using AutoPIPE and Caesar II. This analysis helps prevent any accident or flaw in the construction of the pipelines by determining the stress and forces at work throughout the pipes. Using this analysis shows us where to place the correct supports, ensuring the safety of the workers and the durability of the plant. Furthermore, I was responsible for valve selection and verification, back-checking all of the materials being bought for building the pipe spools, as well as technically verifying valve proposals for purchase.

As part of improving the product development process of R & D, the internship helped acquire new rapid prototyping skills through the platform Matlab / Simulink / XPC Target, implementing different programming boards and identifying new components for the development of new prototypes. These new skills were also used to develop and improve programs for test benches, train new users and identify new needs.In addition, through optimization of prototypes, I was included in a project team consisting of about 6 people.
