• Studied approximation and competitive online algorithms for Scheduling Problems (makespan minimization, mostly) with a FAPESP Scholarship.• Implemented state-of-the-art algorithms in C++ and compared their results in 30+ problem instances.• Developed a modular and extensible scheduling problem test case generator in Python.• Published an article presenting a neural network that achieved up to 80% better results than the classic algorithms (LIII Brazilian Symposium on Operations Research, SBPO 2021).
