Hi, my name is Joaquin and I am a 24-year-old full-stack software engineer graduate from the Flatiron School (React, Ruby on Rails, SQL). After two years of computer science at community college, I transferred to a technical university for one semester. Then the pandemic hit. Given I did not feel it was fair to pay the exact same tuition amount for online classes as if I was on campus, I took off 2020 and decided to focus on being self-taught and kept working exhaustively at an Amazon sorting warehouse. It was there during early 2021, when I heard about the Flatiron boot camp, I signed up and did the 15-week immersive full-stack software engineering program.I am also a tech writer with a passion for always giving a hand when needed.
