I participated in strategic planning strategies and data efforts for the organization including data dashboards, agency goals and survey assessments.

I worked to understand the impact of policy on the federal, state and local levels for one of the oldest and most dynamic home health care providers and insurance companies in New York City. This included in-depth analysis of the FY2018-19 New York State Budget, the creation of a database to match elected officials with our patients in their constituencies and quick detailed analysis of the impact of new State and Federal Health Policies. I also participated in lobbying efforts toward State and Federal representatives to secure the best outcomes for our vulnerable patient population.

Comadre a Comadre is a community health program dedicated to the advocacy, education and support of Latina women in New Mexico regarding breast cancer and breast health. As a Data Analyst, I was able to apply my statistics and public health knowledge to help track patient navigation data, outcomes and financial and cultural barriers to health care access. I implemented a new method and form for tracking patient navigation outcomes and maintained and updated our patient information database for education and outreach. I helped transition to a new patient navigation software, relocate to a new location and present our program to a visiting Chinese Government national health delegation

I oversaw a dynamic team of Front-of-House associates in two of Las Vegas’ premier high-caliber steakhouses, ensuring every step of service was met for our guests. I created a team-driven environment with monthly lead meetings, quarterly all-staff meetings and constant informal meetings to point out opportunities for better service and hospitality, and upheld Fleming’s culture and service standards throughout every day of service. I was promoted to take over the wine program, featuring 100 wines by the glass and 100 reserve wines. I smoothly transitioned the restaurant to a new centralized inventory system, lowered costs, hosted wine dinners and built a wine culture through consistent tastings, seminars and refining of the guest experience

I spent two years working as a restaurant manager for San Francisco Soup Company, a multi-million dollar private restaurant chain in the Bay Area, managing the company's highest-revenue restaurant inside SFO International Airport. I reduced labor costs for the year, installed a new point of sale system, performed a comprehensive cost-analysis of all the menu items and hired and trained a new management team. I was also instrumental in negotiating a new contract with the employees union, building a positive relationship between the team and the company in order to maximize the customer experience.

Bristol Bay, Alaska

Worked entire salmon fishing season (summer) for six years with same crew boss in Bristol Bay, Alaska. Worked 12-18 hours a day of heavy physical labor for many days without breaks. Learned to work with wide variety of personalities to achieve high productivity levels under harsh conditions, often in the Alaskan wilderness without running water, electricity, or permanent shelter.
