- Led design, simulation, and modeling efforts for four Hardware in the Loop (HiL) test benches across three iterations of embedded control systems for Proterra's Battery Electric Bus (BEB). Managed both electrical and mechanical aspects of the projects. Directed a spectrum of operations encompassing systems requirements definition, auditing of V-model processes, meticulous review of Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVP&Rs), and facilitation of test track testing initiatives.

- Supported the traction controls team for GE diesel locomotives. Responsibilities encompassed implementing necessary updates to traction control logic using Simulink/Stateflow, accompanied by rigorous design reviews and updates to documentation. Conducted thorough validation and verification tests for the control software modifications, both within the Hardware in the Loop (HiL) test bench environment and the locomotive.

- Created mathematical and physics-based models to carry out numerical simulations of turboprop and turbofan engines used in HiL testing. Collaborated with the controls design team by providing assistance during ECU testing within the HiL setup. Diagnosed issues tied to hardware-software interfaces and conducted refinement and calibration of powerplant models.- Incorporated powerplant models with the ECU in a non-real-time simulation to execute Software in the Loop (SIL) testing of new engine controls schedules and configurations, enabling comprehensive research and operability assessments. Analyzed engine performance under steady-state conditions and evaluated its transient response within various flight conditions, all while adhering to the flight envelope parameters.- Developed comprehensive test plans and actively contributed to the altitude test chamber testing to identify dynamic characteristics of turboprop engines. Provided direct on-site assistance to Airbus for the integration of engine models into their avionics systems and advanced full flight simulators

- Supported the development of a new invoicing system catering to the aviation sector in Latin America. Served as a pivotal link between the IT department and the invoicing group, ensuring precise alignment with system requisites. Conducted rigorous testing of the invoicing system to validate its seamless operation and proficiently oversaw its deployment across multiple airport locations.
