In the 2023 season, I led groups with co-leaders rather than alone, and I led multiple small groups this time and had the opportunity to get to know some students on a more individual level, some of whom became my friends. On a whole, this experience tested my ability to be able to listen well, speak well, understand the needs of a group, and coordinate with other leaders.

As part of the experience, I spoke with Filipino Congressmen, businessmen, farmers, and educators, as well as read many journal articles and other writings in order to gain a holistic view of the topic I was researching. Alongside this work, this experience included plentiful volunteering in local schools and churches to help the community.
