As a Residential Assistant at a university, I am responsible for creating a safe and inclusive living environment for students. I provide support and guidance to residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the residence halls.In this role, my duties include:- Acting as a liaison between residents and university staff and administration- Mediating conflicts and providing resources for residents in need- Planning and implementing programming and events for residents, promoting engagement and involvement within the residence hall community- Conducting regular rounds and safety checks to ensure the well-being of residents- Providing on-call support for residents during evenings and weekends- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of resident interactions and incidentsI am a strong communicator and problem-solver, able to effectively manage conflicts and provide support to residents.
