I'm an award winning HIV prevention specialist with 20+ years in HIV care, prevention, hands-on clinical, CBO & volunteer experience. As a current PrEP specialist, I'm passionate about helping to protect as many patient lives as possible, especially those in the LGBTQ+, Latinx & POC communities. • National President’s Circle of Excellence Award winner; ranked 4th of 175 reps. • 10+ years of pharmaceutical product launch, institutional & specialty pharmacy sales experience• 10+ years of Cardiovascular (statins, Afib/VTE, heart failure), Pulmonary (Athma & COPD) & HIV (treatment and prevention) experience. I built my foundation in the CBO world as a medical liaison & as a health & treatment educator. I've worked first hand with hundreds of HIV+ patients and their families. Additionally, as a specialty pharmacy representative, I excelled in creating linkage agreements with clinics and group practices. Within cardiology, I've worked hand in hand with medical directors, electrophysiologists, attending physicians and P&T members to help patients gain access to the best possible heart failure, anticoagulant & lipid-lowering treatments.As an ER intern, I've given physicians a hand in performing INDs, gastric lavages & suturing. When it comes to helping patients; I'm not afraid to roll up my sleeves. In my sales capacity, this translates to working evenings, weekends and synergistically with my matrix team to drive growth & product adoption via a patient-centric approach. In previous roles, I've sold ad space & helped retain customers as a community associate with two tech companies. Personally, I love medicine, especially infectious diseases & immuno-oncology. I'm particularly interested in emerging technologies, such as biologics, CAR-T cell therapies & CRISPR/genetic engineering tools.
