About Joaquín Ortega Casanova
I am native of Tíjola (Almería, Andalusia, Spain), a small and beautiful city located in the valley of the Almanzora River. I received a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics from the University of Málaga in 1995 and 2000, respectively.I have worked on several Spanish and European competitive projects. I am currently Full Professor at the University of Málaga where teaches in different Grade and Master's programs in the field of fluid mechanics.My main research interests include CFD, FSI, microfluidics, heat transfer and aero-hydrodynamics.
