As an Electrical and Electronic Engineer with a passion for innovation, my professional trajectory can be divided into three distinct phases:I began my career during the .com bubble, when the internet and data-driven economy first emerged. As a project manager and consultant in the field of industrial automation and systems integration, I gained extensive experience in electronic engineering, project management (including time, resource, and quality control) with sequential waterfall processes in a predictable environment, and worked for an extended period of time in Germany.During the second phase of my career, I transitioned to renewable energy sector and took on management positions, overseeing project portfolios, financial modeling, complex administrative processes, environmental studies, electrical engineering projects, operation and network access procedures, where the focus was on energy, environment, and sustainability. Finally, since 2015, I have been immersed in the digital era, working alongside a myriad of tools and technologies, lean processes, unstructured approaches, and continuous action. The technologies I have worked with include:• IoT, or the deployment of sensors/devices connected to the cloud. • Cloud computing, which abstracts the concept of a computer through virtualization technologies.• Blockchain, as a tool for decentralization and traceability of information.• Artificial Intelligence, for going beyond automation and understanding complexity, breaking it down into simple processes and automating them.During this phase, I have participated in various startups, promoted Industry 4.0, and most recently teaching at the university.Over time, I have come to understand that this evolution is entirely in line with my personality, where imagination and projection are more important than analysis and order. This does not mean that analysis and order, which are the key qualities of an engineer, are not required to drive an Engineer career. Rather, major industrial and agricultural disruptions, which have increased humankind well-being, are generated through the values of imagination, risk, projection, and action. It is undeniable that our current environment, with rapidly accelerating technological changes, offers tremendous business opportunities based on constantly evolving use cases. The concept of "Digital Transformation," as it is typically explained as automation of data, can go much further.
