This includes internet service, core network (wired and wireless), VPNs, disaster recovery, desktops, mobile devices, Building Management Systems, and software. -Internet: various Internet Service Providers have been selected as solutions to various needs throughout the business portfolio. -Networking: VPNs have been configured to leverage Ubiquiti UniFi core network and wifi access points to provide a user-friendly management platform. He has worked with fiber, ethernet, coax, and wireless data pathways. -Communications: Telephone, fax, and mobile. He has implemented 3CX phone systems paired with Flowroute.com (VoIP), to maximize cost savings. This reduced monthly phone costs by 80%. -Software: Joash has deployed and administered Microsoft Office 365 for multiple business units. He has provided remote building security access for various properties, and employee remote access to their desktop PCs. He has provided consulting, installation, and management of multiple video surveillance systems at the various properties. Additionally, he has been integrally involved in deploying Patriot Software and AppFolio Property Management software.Wins: He saw a need to streamline and systematize his company's processes to align how they managed their properties. He independently researched, selected and proposed implementation of Appfolio Property Management software. The owner liked the idea and a trial that advanced to full deployment of the software throughout the company. This solution has saved time by eliminating double-entry of financials for budget tracking, accelerated the payables approval process, improved customer and vendor experience by providing an online payment process for our tenants, provided an online process for tenant maintenance requests, and a rapid and convenient payment process for our vendors.

The Schipper Group is a commercial real estate development company that currently owns and manages 807,000 square feet in the greater Akron area. Joash's areas of responsibility include:-Project Leader- He led renovation construction projects. He has successfully led projects ranging from $150,000 to $4 Million with tenants representing the retail, office, medical and education industries. He has provided leadership to all aspects of these projects including coordinating the owners, tenants, architects, contractors and various service providers to bring it from concept to completion. -Property Management- He provided oversight for 5 properties in various forms of their development from empty land to stabilized fully leased buildings. Responsibilities include AP/AR, budgeting, coordinating services, renovations, leasing, IT, emergency management, and self-performance of minor maintenance.-Insurance/Risk Management: He managed insurance policies for 12 entities and handle any insurance claims.-Graphic Design-He has moderate proficiency with Adobe Design software suite and has designed projects for marketing materials as well as the owner's philanthropic projects.-Additional areas where he has added value: entity creation (LLCs), HR (hiring, interviewing and advising ownership on personnel issues), event planning, influenced a positive culture and work environment and he has represented the company at various civic and non-profit events.
