Actualising open networking among different development actors by making connections and building relationships that establish a community of peer based actors, ideas and action. This open networking and relationships result in sharing of ideas and information, skills and resources to achieve common development objectives more effectively and efficiently.Provides guidance, research and consultancy services to development organisations on a need-basis. Services include project conceptualisation, baseline surveys, M&E, strategic planning, policy development, proposal development and fundraising, business/companies establishment, branding, structuring and compliance advisory.. Works with non profits, the government and the private sector modeling, testing and reporting innovative sustainable development experiments and models.

Led youth life skills, core business skills and business development services training activities in Kitui County.Worked with project donors and partners such as the World Bank, NITA, TVETA, National and County Government Youth Line Ministries and the communities across the county to mobilize beneficiaries for project onboarding, monitoring NITA’s skills’ training component, onboard master craftsmen and theirpedagogical skills upscaling, partnerships with TVETA/KNQA to TVETs and apprenticeships at their places of work while seeking formalization of qualification and trades.Participated in the development of the Kenya National Labour Market Information System by data collection and population as a component of the Project in partnership with the Ministry of Labour.Led MEAL activities, developed and deployed M&E tools during youth training under NITA, youth business support grantee and beneficiary assessment under MSEA and life-skills, core-business skills and business development services. Acted as the primary contact responding to project inquiries to different stakeholders. Oversaw the planning and facilitation of conferences, meetings and events to drive project outcomes and bring together youth working groups for shared action. Provided youth with linkages to business development services, employment, digital skills training and access to financial institutions and other necessary linkages as necessary. Led the refurbishment and operationalized Youth Empowerment Centres in Kitui County to be a one-stop shop for youth development services including tendering, learning, labour and government services and financial products. Provided training, induction and guidance to new staff, back-up support to other staff in the sub-counties and colleagues during periods of heavy workload.

 Fundraised and oversaw the drilling, equipping and community handover of a community borehole at Nzawa, Mwingi West suncounty. Initiated partnership and worked with FARM AFRICA capacity building and empowering 1500 Genesis CDA farmers towards independent sustainable livelihoodsthrough a Sorghum and green grams Value Chain project in Kitui County. Designed and oversaw the implementation of a Sub-couty wide poultry development project (Community Based Poultry Service Providers) through training and equipping 30 village based poultry service and vaccination providers with skills and vaccination kits. Fundraised for and coordinated food relief issuance reaching over 10,000 households in Eastern Kenya during the 2016-2017 drought. Drafted and initiated implementation of a comprehensive Genesis Community Development Strategy Document 2017~2020 (Genesis 2020) Conducted an Impact Assessment of Genesis programmes from 1994 to 2016.Facilitated the award of scholarships to two female secondary school students under Kenya Community Development Foundation's Global Give Back Circle programEstablished an entrepreneurship, IT and computer literacy programme at the Genesis Training and Exhibition Centre training and mentoring a cohort of 25 youth on IT and entrepreneurship, 15 of whom are already self employed or employed in the IT sector.

Interned and later volunteered with UNDP/Global Environmental Facility/Ministry of Agriculture (GoK) SLM Kenya Project at Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries in Kyuso Sub-county. Successfully mobilized and supervised community workers in dam construction, gulley rehabilitation and other project activities. Furthered community participation and gender mainstreaming through introducing women groups into the project activities. Consolidated project reporting formats through introducing cloud based-sharing, and standardized narrative and financial report formats to project staff. Documented and publicized project activities and success stories through writing daily field reports, print, multimedia and web tools authoring. Conducted routine repair and maintenance of office computers and equipment. Participated and engaged community members in training on climate change, financial literacy, HIV/AIDS and agribusiness.

I volunteered as a teaching assistant at my former high school Mathematics, Physics, English, and Literature.The schools further engaged me as an Academic Performance Coach to the candidate classes. This involved offering overtime towards counselling, academic therapy and mentorship of students. As a result of the coaching, within a year, Thatha High School which hadn't taken any student to the university in years, took 7 in 2012.
