• Spearheading the operations of KSEBL datacentre and data recovery centre• Installing, configuring & upgrading all applications, database servers, cluster services, virtual machines and container platforms • Monitoring production systems, applications and network performance through the use of various network management and application monitoring tools• Developing tools/scripts to automate integration with other IT tools to aid asset management, cyber reporting capabilities and to manage licenses• Managing the identity & access management systems and SSO integrations using LDAP• Handling SAN storage devices including LUN assignments, scheduled tape backups, etc.• Organizing scheduled patch upgrades & updating datacentre devices in the latest firmware releases• Maximising network efficiency and security by installing & configuring firewall devices, WAF, DDOS etc. • Installing & configuring ticketing system portal and addressing & dealing with support tickets• Liaising with hardware vendors and with software development teams to aid in project implementation • Installing & configuring branch office network devices & servers• Supporting 100% uptime of KSEBL datacentre networks for KSEBL application servers, database servers, DNS servers, Email servers, IDAMS servers, SAN storage, etc.• Guiding & mentoring in-house teams to ensure that their productivity is used optimally

• Setting up of LAN and WAN networks in the exchange.• Installation and configuration of modems, switches and routers.• Maintaining 100% uptime of networks and workstations in the exchange.• Maintain and provide all necessary records and documentation associated with installation, operations, maintenance of switch-room infrastructure.• Oversee new and existing hardware and software upgrades.• Taking responsibility for configuration management and overall operational readiness of network system and server systems.• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Providing support for various web hosting companies/Datacentres.• Installation and configuration of web servers, mail servers, database servers etc.• Manage physical and virtual networks with routers, firewalls, VPN and load balancers.• Installation, configuration and upgradation of network devices.• Managing and maintaining uptime of networks, application servers, database servers, Mail servers, DNS servers and workstations.• Monitoring severs and networks using monitoring tools and take corrective actions.• Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and administering new software, databases, applications, servers and workstations• Setting up of firewall and security groups which protects servers and end users from malicious activities.• Design of network architecture for data centres.• Handling support tickets and fixing the issues within SLA time.• Maintaining LAN, WAN & Security in location• Managing backups of servers.
