Product Funder, Inc. was founded in 2011 as resource to help inventors and designers bring their product ideas to market. This is a consumer products based crowd-funding website, bringing a team of product designers together who know what it takes to be successful in product design, engineering economics, manufacturing and distribution. What make this different from Kickstarter and Indie Go-Go is the addition of a proven product design, manufacturing and engineering team with the skills and experience to bring a products to market. It's one thing to secure money for the development of an idea or invention, it's another thing to know how to do it. Product Funder has been created to help bridge that gap, and come along side the fund seekers to ensure a successful product release.• Led a small team in the development of a consumer products based crowd-funding platform • Application written in python, built on Django, running on Heroku• Recruited a small, but strong, team of developers to bring the app to fruition• Worked with business team to define and execute project requirements• Brought the application to market, on-time and without a hitch, complete with several successfully funded projects

Technologies used include Ruby on Rails, PHP, Yii, Python, Django, pyramid, node.js, backbone.js, jQuery, jQuery UI, jQuery Mobile, Twitter Bootstrap, Memcache, MySql, MongoDb, Apache, Postgres, Objective-C, XCode, SVN, Git, Flex, and Actionscript.• Chief Architect of a large scale DAM application still in use by many large media companies, including NBC Universal. This was a sales force automation tool allowing sales associates to take an iPad or iPhone to a golf resort and enter orders for clubs and other accessories. This included orders for the pro shop as well as custom fitted club orders for individuals.• Project Manager and technical lead for numerous projects, including native mobile applications and server based web applications.

I played lead guitar in a full-time touring band. It was a pretty good band, but not the best. I play more of a chimey guitar style...think The Edge, not Van Halen. I also played rhodes, synth, and sang background vocals. We lived the dream for a bit, but eventually ran out of food.
