Eng. Juan Carlos Ocampos is the CTO of Camnexus, a technology transfer platform for sustainable development based in Cambridge, associated to the Centre for Global Equality. Juan Carlos has extensive experience in the management and development of information technology projects for the industry, leading and managing projects in Latin America, for International companies as AT&T LA, TELMEX, ENTEL and CNT Ecuador, in integrator as Logicalis and Cibercall, where he has successfully undertaken lead positions in several areas, such as Network Operations, IT Operations, ISP Operations, Engineering and R&D, making technological advances for new products and services. Juan Carlos is currently in charge of the design, development and implementation of the Camnexus IoT platform, an end-to-end user solution, which includes the development of own equipment such as Gateways, Nodes and integration of third-party equipment. In addition, he is responsible for the development of the management tool, web based, totally cloud and multi-client solution.He is also an expert consultant for the development of IoT and Telecommunications technologies for companies that need to design and implement new information technologies, both as commercial or private networks in urban and rural environments.Juan Carlos Ocampos is an Electrical Engineer who graduated from the University of Chile. He became a specialist in large-scale project management for telecommunications and Internet companies for countries in Latin America such as Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina and Central America.
