I am DNP trained Family Nurse Practitioner looking for work in urgent care or an emergency department. Prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, I was a paramedic and flight paramedic for 10 years providing primary advanced life support care for 911 patients in California's Central Valley. My DNP research focussed on the impact of Mobile Integrated Healthcare and I have a strong interest in improving access to care and services for those who struggle. I will be continuing my education with post-graduate certification in Acute Care Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner beginning in January of 2024. My goal is to work in remote and rural emergency departments and critical access hospitals to address the lack of providers in these areas and improve patient access and outcomes.
