At Raytheon, I am currently recruiting for the following disciplines in Tucson, AZ:Signal Processing EngineersRaytheon/Tucson products use sensors in the radar, visible light, or infrared wavebands to generate time series, 2D images, and representations of radar data. The Signal Processing (SP) group is responsible for converting the digitized sensor output to useful information, and making decisions that are shared with the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) team. GNC then steers the airframe towards the indicated location.SP calibrates and “cleans up” the raw sensor signals, performs detection of stationary & moving objects, sensor data fusion, feature extraction, rejection of clutter and countermeasures, object recognition/classification (including using Machine Learning), single-object and multi-object tracking, and smart terminal guidepoint selection. We work with algorithms, software, and simulations. We do not work with circuits or hardware.If you have experience in the following areas: analysis using MATLAB and/or Python, algorithm development, implementation, integration and/or testing, and C++ (or other OO programming experience) - lets connect!
