My tasks as an Administrative Clerk is to assist patrons that come into the building, over the phone and through email. Answer any questions that customers have regarding the facilities, programs and any other questions they may have regarding anything happening within the City. I manage the cash register and other accounting practices. Assist managers in daily tasks as needed. I have experience using various programs such as Microsoft Office, booking systems Max Enterprises and BookKing, and accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics GP.I started this position in November of 2016 for maternity leave coverage as an Administration Receptionist. In January 2018, this position became permanent as an Administrative Clerk. In June 2018 I moved to cover a maternity leave for the Programs and Special Events Manager that ended in July 2019 and returned to the Administrative Clerk position. In April 2020, I again accepted to cover the Programs and Special Events Manager maternity leave and will return to the Administrative Clerk position upon completion of term.

Worked as the Programs and Special Events Manager to cover two maternity leaves. The first opportunity occurred from June 2018 to July 2019 and the second staring in April 2020 ending in January 2021 due to Covid-19. In this role I coordinate existing and new events and recreation programs including the Humboldt Summer Sizzler, Canada Day Celebration, Drop In Sports, Roam Humboldt, 12 Days of Christmas and more. I also manage the Front Administration and assist the Director of Community Leisure Services and other Managers in administrative tasks. I oversee the programs and events and administrative budgets. I coordinate and assist the fulfillment of the Joint Usage Agreement between the City of Humboldt, Horizon School Division and Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools. I also develop marketing initiatives to promote Community Leisure Services programs, lessons and facilities. Due to Covid-19, our facility was closed for a short period of time. Once senior management and City Council made the decision to re-open recreation facilities, I acted as a lead manager for this project. Some duties included implementing and understanding safety protocols and facility guidelines.
