With a B.Ed. from Penn State, I have been teaching at Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) for seven years. I am passionate about creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences for my students, especially in literacy and math.In my classroom, I use various strategies to foster reading comprehension, accuracy, fluency, and vocabulary skills among my students, such as explicit phonics instruction and strategy groups. I also incorporate educational technology, such as interactive whiteboards, Chromebooks, and online platforms, to enhance their learning outcomes and motivation. Additionally, I have a strong background in math education, and I use differentiated instruction and hands-on activities to help my students master the concepts and skills. As a result, I have contributed to the improvement of student achievement and growth in my school and district.
