Serves as Secretary of the Health and Safety Committee. As such, she shall function as: (a) Prepare minutes of the meeting(b) Report Status of recommendations made;(c) Notify members of the meetings; and(d) Submit to the employer a report of the activities of the committee, including recommendations made;• Acts in advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the employer andworkers.• Conducts investigation of accidents as member of Health and Safety and submits the separate report andanalysis of accidents to the employer.• Coordinates all Health and Safety training programs for the employees and employer.• Conducts Health and Safety inspection as member of the committee.• Maintains or helps in the maintenance of efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken bysupervisors to eliminate accident causes.• Provides assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accidentinvestigation or any other related programs.• For purposes of effectiveness in a workplace where full-time safety officer is required. And directly reportingto the employer.• Oversee the overall management of the OSH program in coordination with the OSH committee.• Frequently monitor and inspect any health or safety aspect of the operation being undertaken with theparticipation of supervisors and workers.• Assist government inspectors in the conduct of safety and health inspection at any time whenever work isbeing performed or during the conduct of an accident investigation by providing necessary information andOSH reports as required by the OSH standards.• Issue Work Stoppage Order (WSO) when necessary, based on the requirements and procedures provided bythe OSH standards.• Perform other duties as may be necessary for the efficient operation of the department.

Inspecting production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe.• Participating in continuing education to update knowledge health and safety protocols and techniques and meeting company health and safety goals. Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site. Liaising with law enforcement and other investigators who are present at the time of a serious accident.• Reviewing and reporting on the staff’s compliance with health and safety rules and recommending commendations or dismissal based on performance. Planning and implementing OSH policies and programs.• Preparing safety educational training and seminar on a regular basis. Reviewing of existing Safety, Health Policies and Procedure. Working with HR to set-up a new employee on-boarding process Safety Health and Environment Work Standards• Conducting of Risk Assessment Programs (HIRAC) and checking if all employees are acting in adherence with the Safety, Health and Environment work standards.• Monitoring of the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System Procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives. Conducting safety audits both internal and on sub-contractor works. Takes part in accident / incident investigation and carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans• Represent the company in all safety regulating government agencies (in DOLE and other government agencies concerning work safety).

Primary and Specific Responsibilities:• Responsible for promoting, securing and maintaining accreditation of AMECS by DOLE as a consulting organization and provider of Work Environment Measurement (WEM) services.• Providing consulting services related to occupational Industrial hygiene, health and safety compliance and programs to client companies.• Business Development of the Health and Safety and Industrial Hygiene related services of the EHS Division.• Ensuring compliance of the EHS Business’ Industrial Hygiene and WEM services to DOLE accreditation requirements. Performing HIRAC in different companies to identify properly the potential hazards in their facilities.• Complies with the WEM / Operations Department policies including but not limited to:• Demonstrating strong commitment to AMECS WEM / Operations Department Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions by participating in safety meetings, completing required training, intervening in unsafe situations, refusing unsafe work, and complying fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to EHS.• Responding appropriately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace.• Reports all incidents (actual incidents and near misses) in accordance with the AMECS Incident Reporting requirements.• Using all equipment (including safety equipment) in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to operations head.• Maintaining awareness of hazards and proposes controls and as supervisor, WEM / Operations Team Representatives or relevant client / site contact.• Leading and participating in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by AMECS management.• Appointed as Safety Officer 3 (Supervisory level) to represent AMECS in other Government Agencies concerning in Work Safety and as a Company’s Safety Officer 3.
