Summer Search is a youth development mentoring program that empowers first generation youth to be successful leaders in their communities. From high school through post-secondary and beyond, Summer Searchers are provided with holistic and culturally relevant support from their mentors in topics like academics, financial aid, student life & campus engagement, and career exploration.• Drive local program delivery through supporting with calendaring, preparing for and the delivery of participant-facing programming (ie: mentoring, financial assistance, workshops, events), leading relevant meetings, trainings and project areas, and developing systems and resources to maximize participant engagement.• Partner with the Director of Post-Secondary on strategies that support high outcomes for participants and to meet national and local goals through setting seasonal benchmarks and continuously tracking progress.• Play an active role in the ongoing development and refinement of Post-Secondary programming org-wide through collaboration with local, regional and National staff. • Support with fostering and cultivating strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, such as local college administration and external organizations to enhance collaborative initiatives and strengthen relationships in support of organizational goals.• Prepare and deliver workshops, webinars, and group meetings for participants receiving Targeted Supports.• Utilize Salesforce database proficiently to input and track key data related to participant engagement, academic persistence, and other key outcomes.• Provide depth mentoring and advise participants in practical support areas such as college access and persistence, finances, and career preparation.

• Design and deliver communications, workshops, webinars, and peer group meetings for Post-Secondary participants years 2-6 • Provide individualized support and mentorship for BA site participants who are approaching college graduation, transferring schools, or switching majors, in need of connection to resources for their health and wellness and financial wellness support• Collaborate with Internship Manager as needed to identify and disseminate internship and job opportunities for participants• Collaborate with the team of National Post-Secondary staff & regional sites to support ongoing learning and program evolution cycles (program delivery, evaluation, program design

• Provide 100 + first-gen post-secondary students with academic, career, financial and soci-emotional support.• Oversee a foundational donation budget that serves over 1000 College Success students. • Manage a summer intern by providing support and structure for their capstone project and in collaborating with other departments.• Lead both Post-Secondary program annual events in collaboration with our Alumni program and our Seattle site.• Participate in proposal committee for on-going Post-Secondary redesign.• Co-Lead and facilitate in cross-team spaces to collaborate, create strong team culture and advocate for staff and students.

• Provide a caseload of over 100 post-secondary students with academic, financial, career and socio-emotional support.• Organized our College Success team to visit our first-generation students to local college campus' in the fall and spring. • Create a College Success quarterly newsletter and other communications through Facebook to keep over 900 of our students up to date and engaged with College timelines, internship opportunities as well as our own program events.

• Drive student development by mentoring a caseload of 35 high school students to identify themes in their lives and set goals that promote personal and academic goals.• Act as a guide for students and help them to understand how to navigate systems of oppression that act as barriers for under-served, first-generation students of color.• Collaborate with team members to organized and co-lead 10 events each school year for students and families to share information about the program, summer trips and college.

As a member of the school administrative team, I participated in the creation and management of the school master schedule. I supported student academic goals through managing individual student schedules in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to make sure they were on track to graduate. I also supported students through the SAT/ACT, financial aid and college application process. I maintained a safe space for students to process socio-emotional challenges.
