Early on, having obtained a teaching degree in history and geography, Jocelyna Dubuc became interested in alternative medicine and psychology. During a stay in India in the 70s, she pursued her studies in meditation and yoga. From then on, she has acquired knowledge in naturopathy, applied kinesiology, gentle exercise, dreamwork, healthy eating, psychosynthesis, focusing (dream analysis, interpretation…). From her training as a teacher she has a continuing desire to share her knowledge. From her years of personal development, she has a genuine focus on well-being, both in mind and in body.Since 1977, she has been active in creating a centre where the clientele would find a haven, a time to pause and rebuild. Spa Eastman offers a concept of integrated health-vacations where every opportunity to enjoy life is offered.Innovator in the concept of health-vacations in Québec, she joined forces with influential industry members to found, in 1993, the Spa Association “Relais Santé,” a body to promote, inform and standardize the industry. She acted as President for the first 10 years.In 1996, she became the owner of “Aqua-Cité,” now called Spa Eastman in Montréal, a centre situated right in the heart of downtown Montréal. "Divine Peace", the trademark of the Spa Eastman now permeates this new urban getaway. In 2006, she acquired a third property now called Spa Eastman Île des Soeurs, offering a unique relaxation and beauty approach dedicated to well-being.
