About Jocelyn Jones

I am an advocate for Early Childhood Education. I have a passion for educating young children in unique, new, and creative ways. I have a B.A. degree in Sociology from Bethune-Cookman University and a TCC in Early Childhood from Ellis College. I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Studies with a Specialization in Teaching Adults Early Childhood from Walden University and a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education.I have 25 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. In addition, I was awarded and acknowledged for teaching and implementing creativity in the classroom and love to train, mentor, and teach other EC professionals. My passion and compassion for children began with my mother who owned a in-home daycare in Lithonia, Georgia. My mother exemplified what a childcare provider really meant. I observed my mother’s nurturing spirit and agape love expressed to her students and families as a childcare provider. The same agape love and nurture was imparted in me to educate and nurture children.
