Currently, as President of Lionsgate Canada television division , Jocelyn leads the strategy for both scripted and unscripted content with an eye for quality with a global reach. Lionsgate Canada is a leading independent studio that develops, produces and distributes content worldwide. Most recently, Jocelyn was President of eOne Canada TV. In her current role, Jocelyn oversees a slate of award winning series that are both ratings winners and critically acclaimed. Jocelyn has executive produced scripted series such as Mary Kills People (Lifetime/Hulu, Global), Cardinal (CTV, Hulu), Private Eyes (Global, Ion), Ransom (Global, CBS), Burden of Truth (CBC, CW), Nurses (Global) and unscripted series such as Border Security (Netflix, Global), Expecting (Uptv), Make it to the Moon (Discovery), Never Say Goodbye (ID) and Jennings 8 (ID). Jocelyn also started the eOne podcast network in 2017 which is now part of Lionsgate Sound. Previously, Vice President Programming & Original Productions at Corus Entertainment, Jocelyn Hamilton was responsible for content strategies across all Kids & Family networks and affiliated & non-affiliated original productions. She was integral to the launch of the Disney Channel in Canada in addition to overseeing Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, YTV, Teletoon, Treehouse & Teletoon Retro. From 2010-2013 Jocelyn was Vice President, Original Programming - Kids, Comedy, Drama and for all Corus Entertainment specialty and pay networks which included Movie Central, HBO Canada, CMT, ABC Spark & W as well as the previously mentioned kids & family networks including unscripted content. A long time supporter of the Canadian production industry, she is chair of WIFT-T board of directors, on the board of directors for the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, on the advisory board for Ryerson University School of Media program and regularly contributes on industry panels, mentorship programs and various industry organizations. Jocelyn is also showcased on the inaugural Ryerson Wall of Fame in 2012 and was recently listed on the 2024 Hollywood Reporter’s most powerful women in Canada list.
