When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a Marine Biologist, going deep into the sea and explore the unknown. Growing up I decided to study IT Administration because I wanted to work at NASA. What is bigger and deeper than the sea? Space I thought.This career opened an opportunity for me to be part of an HR Team, and I discovered my real passion: People: beautiful as the sea, mysterious as the space and so complex as both of them combine. Helping people realized their potential to benefit from it and also benefit the community they are part of is rewarding.As I mature in my role in HR, I also learned the importance to understand each organization I was part of, not from behind a desk, but to really dive deep and live each company’s perspective from the eyes of each area, their needs, worries, expectations, and contributions. And this knowledge has been helping me help People connect with their roles and the Company to connect with the Humans who contribute to her success. Because HR must be more than just your friendly hiring - firing department!BTW, Have I learned to go deep inside? A 2 months retreat in India helped me connect with myself, and this immersion has been the most rewarding and exciting experience of all and by doing so everyday, I become more empathetic with everyone and everything around me.
