I serve as a consultant, designer, presenter and facilitator. ❖ Works collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical leaders across the organization and members of various teams, to identify and drive education and learning initiatives❖ Supports the clear definition of project scope, timelines, goals, roles and responsibilities, tasks and deliverables, and develops full-scale project plans with detailed tasks, timelines, accountabilities and milestones.❖ Functions as an expert for consultation on education and learning assessment, strategy, analysis, instructional design/curriculum development, evidenced-based best practices and standards, redesign, implementation, and evaluation. Functions as the expert healthcare simulation consultant.❖ Through the application of various training modalities, collaborates with educators and faculty using adult learning theory, strong instructional design, and measurable outcomes design.❖ Promotes interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration through team based simulation and other training.❖ Helps design and create the tools, resources, artifacts, etc. associated for Program implementation.❖ Facilitates communication between the Jones Learning Center leadership, team members and customers. Participates in the development, implementation and monitoring of Program communication strategies to create awareness and action in stakeholder groups.❖ Maintains up-to-date knowledge of education and learning trends, advances, evidence-based best practice standards, technology and changing regulations. Anticipates and forecasts trends in healthcare education and learning industries.

Developed and delivered hybrid skills lab content to nurses who are reentering the workforce after a period of 2-20 years.Customized development of curriculum that addresses the special learning needs and gaps in current knowledge to thispopulation of students.

Prepared the nursing skills lab for classes, teaches skills modules to nursing students. Developed and delivered nursingskills curriculum in an online hybrid format. Set up and managed skills testing sessions in the lab. Provided a realisticclinical experience for students in the nursing skills lab. Maintained supplies and equipment to improve and expand thenursing skills lab learning environment. Assisted students in open lab with skills practice and met with advisees.Developed, prepared, programmed, ran and debriefed simulations. Provided staff development and education for the use ofthe Laerdal SimMan and VitalSim simulators in providing the simulation experience for students. Participated in the planning and development of the RN-BSN program at Bellevue College, the second in the state to beoffered at a community college. Developed bachelor’s level informatics curriculum and informatics practicumcurriculum for the program and taught Informatics and Health Information Technology for Nurses (NURS450) and Nursing Health Information Technology Practicum (NURS 451) in the RN-BSN program, which are bothhybrid format courses.

Developed and taught health information technology curriculum infusion for the Health eWorkforce (HeW) Consortium(http://hiteducation.org/hew-member-college-resources/curriculum-development-resources/materials/). Part of a ninecollege program that is focused on expanding workforce training capacity in Health IT across the US. The curriculumis open source, creative commons licensed material.

Developed and taught Health Information Technology for Nurses curriculum for the Region A Health IT WorkforceTraining Consortium project of the ONC at Bellevue College (http://nwhit.org/) . Taught course to cohorts of registerednursing students both at Bellevue College and Renton Technical College. Curriculum was adopted by the Consortiumfor use in other programs across the nation.
