I have been a nurse since 2000 and a simulation educator since 2009. I am an associate clinical professor and Director of Simulation at the University of California, Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing. I am a certified nurse educator, a certified health care simulation educator and a certified medical-surgical nurse. My passion is healthcare simulation and educational innovation.I was awarded my PhD in nursing from Washington State University in 2021. My research interest is prebriefing practices in nursing education programs. I am passionate about providing simulation that employs best practices and is guided by teaching/learning theories in a safe learning environment.
