Jocelyn Macdougall facilitates conversations that matter. As an independent practitioner, she works with non-profit, social profit and justice-oriented organizations and movements to refine strategy, enhance wellness, foster connection, dismantle broken systems and build new worlds.Jocelyn is a passionate entrepreneur. Beyond her innovative facilitation and strategy practice, she is co-founder of Womxn Led, a peer-learning community for womxn in mission-driven work. She is also co-founder of Firefly Alliance, a community that equips women with collaborative leadership skills to move beyond racism and sexism. Previously, she co-founded World Changing Women Summit, an annual gathering for women leaders in conscious business.Before becoming an entrepreneur, Jocelyn worked in non-profit fundraising and events production. She is also an experienced speaker, workshop leader, moderator, panelist and emcee.When she is not at her "day" job, she sings with Vancouver's favourite motown & soul tribute band, Queer As Funk. She has a long history of arts appreciation and believes the arts are a critical component of a sane, self-reflective society.Jocelyn addresses topics such as convening as a tool for dismantling toxic systems, movement building, organizational and personal wellness, heart-centred leadership, and the anti-racism journey of one white woman.Jocelyn holds a B. Arts. Sc. from McMaster University and an M.A. in Communication & Culture from the University of Calgary.
