Hey there, I'm Jocelyn Mathew! I am a student researcher, leader, and learner, along with many other things! I have been passionate about scientific research and leadership from a young age and have cultivated these interests over many years. This year, I was a finalist at the Thermo Fisher Junior Innovators Challenge (TFJIC) 2024! Additionally, I have taken up multiple leadership positions in the past, leading my school as National Junior Honors Society (NJHS) President and debate captain.I am very interested in taking concepts and knowledge from engineering and the biological sciences and applying them to solve real-world problems, especially those involving environmental sustainability and human health. I’ve worked on projects such as Microbial Fuel Cells (MFCs) for renewable energy and water purification, and I’m always eager to explore new ideas that bridge biology, engineering, and innovation.Looking forward to connecting with others passionate about STEM, leadership, and making a difference!
